Sevilla, Granada, Cordoba- SPAIN

Sevilla, Granada, Cordoba- SPAIN

In southwestern Spain lie 3 amazing towns very close to one another.  Each town has so much history and beauty that they will leave you with great memories. I have been to Spain three times and I keep going back.  This region of Spain is easy to travel in, because the towns are connected with reasonably priced trains and buses.

  • What I can do for you

  • Design a trip that connects these 3 cities

  • Let you know which entry tickets needs to be bought in advance

  • Share with you my favorite non-touristy experiences

  • Hook you up with well placed hotels

  • Provide you with transportation information

  • Cost

  • Airfare to Spain from DFW is averaging $1100 usd, train tickets range from $18-80 euro depending on distance and choice of speeds.

  • Hotels run about $120-$180 usd for basic well located hotels (prices depend on season)

  • Food will be about the same price as at home.

Sevilla- home of The Alcazar, The Sevilla Cathedral-(which contains the tomb of Christopher Columbus), the Giralda Tower, Plaza de Espana, the Metropol Parasol and wonderful streets to wander

Granada is a smaller town with a big sight called The Alhambra. You can tour the Alhambra-guide recommended- and then walk up the opposing hill and view it at night.  This is another fun wandering town. Take advantage of its Flamenco dance roots by seeing a show.

Cordoba is a city that people tend to just pop into for a few hours to  see the main attraction called the Mezquita- church and mosque. But there is also The Roman Bridge, Calleja de las Flores (the flower alley) and the Alcazar of Cordoba. So plan to stay more than a few hours.

If you love strolling ancient streets and seeing amazing historical sights then you will love this trio of towns. If you are interested please contact me at 1960travelgirl@gmail.com
